Gate opening times will vary based on the event and the artist’s demands. Generally the venue gates will open 90 minutes prior to the concert start time; however, some shows may be 60 minutes prior so please check your ticket and the website for each individual show gates time.

Most shows are festival style seating and on the grass in a general admission format.  Some shows may vary and have a certain amount of reserved seats along with general admission, but we want to keep most shows to a festival format since this creates the most social, enjoyable experience for concert goers.  Any shows that do have a reserved seat section will be clearly depicted on the ticketing purchase event page, and noted on each event description page on this site.

Certain lawn chairs are allowed in the venue. Acceptable lawn chairs should be of the low sitting, short leg variety only. Only chairs where the leg and chair seat is below 9″ off the ground will be allowed into the venue (example 1, example 2example 3, example 4, example 5).  This is a strict policy made for the enjoyment of all fans.

The Statesman Skyline Theater does rent lawn chairs.  Fans can get a lawn chair onsite for a $5 rental fee, along with a $5 deposit that is recouped upon the return of the lawn chair that evening.  If you decide not to return your lawn chair rental, you are welcome to take it home with you, forfeiting the return of your $5 deposit.

As a general rule of thumb blankets will be allowed in for most shows.  However, due to the nature of some shows the use of blankets may be excluded on a show by show basis.  Ticket buyers will receive an information email the week of each show describing the specific rules and prohibited items for that show.  Please make sure to pay attention to the information update emails you receive.  We ask that all fans show respect for their music peers by not taking up more space than needed with a blanket, as this will also prevent others from walking or dancing across them.

There will be a selection of local food trucks present at every Statesman Skyline Theater event. Bars will serve beer, wine and spirits.
